Hi all,
Does anyone know which USB 2.0 wireless adapter works in DSL-N? I need to buy one that will work with DSL-N. Thanks in advance |

The best answer I can give is that almost all of them work, some with minor tweaks and installs, and some out of the box. Also, wireless is hard. After you get your first wireless device to work in linux, it magically becomes a lot easier, but until then, it is a pain.
I have personal experience with a Linksys WUSB54G v1. It has a prism chipset. I hear that it can work with native drivers, but I have not seen that myself. I use ndiswrapper. This device requires a 2.6 kernel.
The wiki has a list of working wireless cards, but the list is small, old, and cannot be edited. |
