I gather DSL-N is now based on Knoppix 4.0.2.
1. Does anyone have a link for the release notes for this version of Knoppix? Google searches seem to always take me to Knopper's current stuff, regardless of version.
2. Is this Sarge, Sid, or some mixture? When I raised this question concerning the former knoppix 3.9 base, I was told Sarge http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/dsl-nhref="/dsl-n/f/viewtopic/81.html, but I found other info (Sid-based except for KDE and OpenOffice?) and there was no clarification forthcoming there, unless I missed it elsewhere, which is entirely possible. |

Er .. is there anybody out there .. ?
http://www.rainbowcomputech.com/index.php?productID=22 , albeit a secondary source, says it's Sarge.
Is that correct? |

I know people are busy. Is it my deodorant perhaps? I believe those links re knoppix3.9 and Sid were most likely wrong.
Does no one else think that the Debian flavor upon which DSL-N is based is actually of any interest .. personally I'd like to know.
Maybe it'd be easier for me to check the libc versions etc and work it out that way ... |

The development of DSL-N is split between John and I. I am mostly core, John is mostly apps. I can only answer in the area of which I have been working. Knoppix 4.0.2 but then you already knew that. |
