Trying to mount my network drive I get the following error.
ERROR: smbfs filesystem not supported by the kernel
Please refer to the smbmnt( manual page
smbmnt failed: 255
This same procedure works flawlessly with all releases of DSL |

roberts - I am still having trouble with this issue in the new a3 image. I still get the same error. I will try and look at it some more when I get time. |

Ah, the module is there as advertised.
But seems I forgot to depmod -a it.
For a workaround until the next cut, try insmod smbfs
# insmod /lib/modules/2.6.11/kernel/fs/smbfs/smbfs.ko |
