OK, you right click on the desktop, then select tools > Frugal Install > Grub |

But watch out, because it overwrites your MBR, no matter what you do.
There doesn't seem to be any way to make it well-behaved and install the bootloader into the root partition. |

Hi
yeah anyone know where is the script for HD-install? like the one in DSL...is it hidden somewhere and not display in the fluxbox menu???
i tried frugal install but nothing change to the HDD!

It's there, just not in the menu.
Just try typing
[code:1]sudo dsl-hdinstall[/code:1]
in a regular terminal.
or just "dsl-hdinstall" in a root terminal.
But I recommend [url]http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/dsl-n/f/viewtopic.php?t=72[/url] for Roberts words on the script. |

Just make sure that you back up before doing anything like this, especially on any other partitions. |
