Hi!
I've got an Acernote Light CDX 370 notebook as a present the other day.
It has 133mhz, 64mb and 2gigs hdd.
With dsl-n everything works fine - i also installed it to hdd - exept the sound.
When I try to play a mp3-file with mplayer, it just says: "could not open/initialize audio device".
I already tried some of the availible outputs, but none worked.
All I know about the sound card: its a 16bit-device.
Thanks in advance for any hints. |

Look in DSLPanel, System Stats, Hardware and see if the sound device has been recognized. Your sound device may not be OSS compliant and therefore may need alsa.dsl |
