| So I've got this old compaq armada 1700 laptop. I have just installed the newest linux dsl-n, and everything works just fine except for the fact that it won't detect neither my floppy nor my cd-drive. At least, it won't show me the files on them. What should I do? |

| Oh, and I don't have any internet connection on it yet. So is there anything obvious I'm supposed to do? |

| Maybe a good place to start would be to search the DSL forums - although there as some differences with DSL-N, you probably have a good chance to find suggestions on how to fix your problems. |
