First off Awesome job on DSL-n and DSL. Great disto in the Linux Community!
Question: Any chance of a 2.4.32 or (2.4.33 when it's released) for DSL-n or even DSL? Main reason is to be able to boot a usb install from older computers via 1.4M floppy ( so kernel can't be huge like 2.6 ) and at the same time have flexibilty of SATA support for newer machines. |

There is a version of DSL, DSL v2.1b that is based on 2.4.31 with sata support.
Look in the DSL forums and Download section for this. |

Are there any plans or possibility to release an update to 2.1b with the changes in 2.3 or 2.4? Maybe when kernel 2.4.33 is released? |

I think it should be possible to make a boot floppy, which would boot from usb..
eg. DOS boot floppy with USB (and CD) support, and then starting DSL-N from DOS.
Or boot floppy with 2.4 kernel, which would load 2.6 kernel from USB (is this possible) |
