Damn Small Linux - Not!

Okay, it doesn't suck per se, but it has one really annoying problem. It doesn't fit on one screen. The DSL forum doesn't have this problem. At least, when it does, it isn't really bad. In the DSL-n forums, i have to scroll back and forth for every line. That sucks.

The culprit appears to be the FAQ, SEARCH, MEMBERLIST line. I recognize that my having a long login doesn't help either. But this line needs to span two lines. It is ridiculously long.

Also, probably at fault is the "New Topic Damn Samll Linux Not Index -> DSL-N Ideas and Suggestions.... Mark All topics read line". That also is quite long.

I have my resolution set at 800x600. This used to be the most common resolution. I recognize that as video hardware gets cheaper and Plasmas and LCDs get bigger that this resolution is dying out, but plenty of us use it, and web sites should always look okay and be functional in it.

Also, I use Firefox with the minimum font size at 16 pt. Hey, my monitor is 15". I'll be upgrading to 17" soon, then maybe I can go down to 14pt, but this forum [i]should be easily functional in 640x480 at 20pt[/i]
