Hello,
I downloaded DSL-N and executed it using Qemu under a Windows XP host. Everything works fine, but it looks like everything I do, it is stored in a ramdisk and the changes are lost the next time I start dsl-n.
Is there anyway to make the changes permanent the moment I do something ?

I think your question is more of a Qemu question that dsl-n specific.
Qemu is a virtual machine. You could setup a virtual hard drive to use for backup similiar to running native. You could also use Samba and map a Windows shared folder to save your backup. All of these are possible and via Qemu. Might want to look at the Qemu support site.

If being nomadic is not important, you may wish to try Vmware Player. It needs to be installed on Windows but then running dsl-n in Vmware Player should allow access to external devices, like a pendrive for your backups.

But you still didn't answer his question which is the same question I have.

How do you save your settings in a USB jumpdrive so when I reboot my settings are still there?
