I would like to turn on debugging for /etc/cups/cups.conf but I get an error that it is read only. Is there a way for me to write to this directory/file running LiveCD DSL-N a3? |

You can always boot with the unionfs option.
If not then the manual way still exists.
Boot with write option, or as root run /etc/init.d/mkwriteable
then for the file in question rm the link thats points to the readonly /KNOPPIX image and finally copy the real file from /KNOPPIX/.... |

Having a real working unionfs will make things much easier.
Look for it in RC2 comming soon. |
