What am I dong wrong that I can't read files on USB flash card (either photo or text files... and the Abiword version you have does not support Open Document Format so I can't read the ODF files that are stored on my flash card.
Otherwise, looks like a fun OS this DSL-N - when it is launched will there be an easire hard drive install and security updates for HD installs... like Ubuntu has promised?
Can we use Ubuntu Repositories for DSL-N ? |

What are you doing wrong with your USB flash card? I don't know, what are you doing?
As far as ubuntu respositories, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I am not an expert, and have little experience with .debs. Fwiw, probably. They're both debian based distros, and while I would expect a few incompatibilities along the line, I think it would for the most part work. Try it, the worst you could do is screw up your distro install.
As for abi word, I know nothing about that. Have you tried using open office? There is a uci in the repository. I'm almost positive that supports ODF. |
