Just thought I'd let you know that my ready-for-the-dump Win95 PC has just been ressurrected thanks to DSL.
It's only got 64Mb but it seems to cope well with surfing and playing MP3s - I really didn't expect to get a GUI Linux to run on it!
I've even got it connected to the web via a crossover cable into my XP Pro box and playing MP3s off the network. Sweeet

Brian AwPhuchI have an old Toshiba 2540cds with 96MB of RAM. I tried using Knoppix on it but it wouldn't load the GUI, said it didn't have enough RAM. After reading this I may try DSL to see if I can get a gui on it!96Megs is more than enuff!!!!!
