User Feedback :: permission denied warning on hdd

hi
my linux knowledge is very bad also my english. at first i wanted to say that iam so sorry for that. :( if someone helps me i will be so happy
i am using dsl 2.0 my harddrive is 80 gbyte and has 2 partition c: and d:and in C:\\ shit Xp is loaded :)  when i boot my computer using bootable cd dsl saw my c: harddrive as hda1
i tried to get in my c: harddrive from terminal like that
cd /mnt/hda1 but it said permission denied. is it because my c: harddrive is NTFS or because an operation system is already loaded? i used "find" function of dsl and it founded my documents in hda1 (for example my mp3s). in d: partition is no operation system loaded it sees my folders by find function too from system menu of dsl. but i again can get in my d: harddisk too.
thanks for everybody who helps or doesnt helps me!

DSL cannot write on a NTFS partition.  If you want to share files between DSL and Windows, you need to use FAT32.

Good Luck,
