there's really no other way to describe the latest release of DSL. i wanted to breathe life back into an old Thinkpad X21 laptop that i take with me in my messenger bag when riding the bike and DSL did it. i did a HD install and 20 minutes later, i had a functioning (once again) X21 laptop. my cisco wireless card even worked right out of the box (very important since this is my bicycle laptop). Ubuntu did a good job, too, but DSL is just so much better for older (but not dead) hardware. now, if i can just figure out how to get some of my favorite truetype fonts installed.......
