The reason I'm booting Knoppix is that Windows won't start due to an apparently corrupt registry (blue screen C0000218). Other than that problem, I have no reason to believe anything is wrong with my system. I tried "failsafe" mode, but got the following error message: Can't find KNOPPIX filesystem, sorry. Dropping you to a (very limited) shell. Press reset button to quit. I don't think I can do anything from that shell... even the 'ls' command is "not found". |
