User Feedback :: Boot CD - CRC error

I downloaded the latest iso file and burned the CD with two different programs. The CD starts the boot process but then it hangs. I get an error message about CRC error when uncompressing Linux. Do I have a bad iso file?

i have a similar problem. the boot freezes at "uncompressing linux.. Ok, booting the kernel". i tried the lowram parameter (less features = more stable?", but it didn't help.

What if you boot with:

dsl mem=16M

where "mem" is lowercase letters, "16" is the available RAM in megabytes, and "M" is an uppercase letter
