User Feedback :: Dillo Errors

It had been a great fun working on dsl since a couple of days. I was able to do a hd install. It has been a great pleasure since then. dsl is wonderful. Dillo is remarkably fast, and there are no browsers to compete with this. But only a problem I have faced, Dillo does not open all the web pages properly I have visited. This is not the case with other browsers.

since 2.0 (i think) there is a problem with dillo displaying umlauts. dillo cuts all words containing äöü right before the umlaut.

example: "Blödian" becomes "Bl", "Spezialität" becomes "Spezialit"

Dillo also does not support CSS, which is used in a very large number of websites.

Firefox works great or Opera is a better choice for older hardware or limited RAM.
