poor man  install 2.2b :D
I wrote a script to mount and umount via mydsl-load /tmp/xchat.uci
100 times and could not reproduce your issue. No failures observed.

Anything else you wish to share with me so that I might be able to  reproduce your issue would be helpful.
don't use a script, just mount and umount different uci's.
It's too easy if u use the same uci.
Finally, I see that only certain uci extensions break this.
Now I have something I can reproduce and fix.
