User Feedback :: mount tool



in a poor man install of 2.2b (boot floppy and dsl on the hd):
I can mount a cdrom with the graphical mount tool but I cannot umount it ; I can only do it issuing

sudo umount /dev/cdrom

same thing here i have a cdrom (cd) n a cdrom1 (DVD) and if i click to mount one then it mounts both as irregular, i can still play them but when i try to unmount either with the tool i get an error message the partition is already mounted at /cdrom/.


to unmount i have to use  sudo umount /dev/cdrom or cdrom1 whichever was the drive i mounted then both cdrom and cdrom1 are unmounted again.

It is being worked on...
should have mentioned im using the frugal grub install to hdd

also even when iv unmounted via the command sudo umount /dev/cdrom seems i cant open the cdrom1(DVD) drive from the open button at the front  :D
