User Feedback :: Xampp, ProFTPdAdmin, phpBB

Just feedback for other noobs...

I have been toying with a small server running from an old laptop. The above programs (Xampp, ProFTPdAdmin, phpBB) seem to work fine after a few glitches were worked out. I can now FTP into my assigned home directory and change the contents of a website running on the server from outside the house. I can also run proFTPdAdmin (usually I do this only behind my firewall) to add or delete users and groups. I'm very close to getting phpBB worked out. All great fun!

My goal was to run a very small website with light traffic(dynamic IP). I think I'm finally close to that end.

If there are any questions in configuring a similar setup, fire away. I had many in the beginning but eventually worked through most of it.
