reboot to the CF - gets 1.5 Grub loader error.
any suggestions ?I am not at my DSL CF computer but I thought I remember an option for using lilo when installing to a CF card. Anyway that is what i did and it works fine even though I would have preferred using grub.Okay if i use LILO what steps do i to select then to get it onto the CF card....
thanks, not familiar with LILO.Grub works fine, I've done it many times. When you do the install do you pick u for upgrade or i for install? I suggest you do i and let it reformat the partition before the install because it writes a new boot/grub/menu.lst file when it does that. The upgrade choice does not write the menu.lst file because it assumes you already have one. That will give you a grub loader error.
