User Feedback :: Too big

I mostly like the application choice but don't agree it needs Dillo and Lynx and 3 editors.

It's very stable and ofcourse fast.

Don't forget to donate.

But if you take dillo out the older machines will be stuck with out a web browser because there machine is not strong enough to run firefox. The editors serve different purposes(as in gui and no gui) exit the gui and try running beaver, so you need nano to edit.
I often wondered why so much space is used for firefox when we have dillo.  Yeah, I guess I'd load the extension every time but thats a lot of room for the CLI apps I personally think should be in the mix instead (No screen? parted? wow those are gimmies heh, at least they have extensions.) But I do hate redundancy.  I realize that firefox is the better choice in most cases, but in the cases where I'd use dillo most of the time I'm just going to load a text-only/CLI browser anyway.  So yes either one could go and I wouldn't blink.

I suppose I could remaster my own but really why bother when extensions are so easily loaded?  Over all I don't think there is a much better combination of apps for a generalized user base.  There are things on it I'll never use in a million years but other people it will be all they are using it for.  I still scratch my head and wonder why no screen tho... boggles the mind.   :O
