User Feedback :: FSCK howto

I have my DSL installed in /dev/hda8 partition. How to run fsck for that using DSL live CD?

try
sudo fsck /dev/hda8
When installed to the hard drive fsck will be run automatically periodically (every so many mounts) during startup.
