User Feedback :: SCSI CD-ROM booting.
I just thought that someone might want to know about this...
I just happened to bump into a minor problem.
Because I was too lazy to find any ATA cables I tried to boot DSL with my SCSI CD-ROM drive. Well. I wouldn't like to write all those error messages here, but in short way: no way.
It says something about inconsistency and cannot create paths. Also it says that I have <BLANK SPACE> kB of RAM.
My DSL CD is version 2.xxxx. Can't really remember any better.
Anyway it ended to a kernel panic. ;P
Ok. Few hours of booting and it went just fine... But when going back to CLI from GUI screen goes crazy... Or is it me? Because I see all in three.
Now I try to get my bios regonize an old ATA CD-ROM
original here.
