User Feedback :: New user, small problems

I just started using DSL, and have a few small problems.

First , All text is extremely small and barely readable(I'm also on a 13" monitor). How can I change this?

Second, I tried to use AIM but I could not understand how to use it. I could not see my buddy list, and i typed something and it went to one of my friends that I did not choose.

I would really appreciate any help.

You could use a smaller resolution - run xsetup.sh and try 640x480

Were you talking about naim for AIM?
