User Feedback :: dsl freeze before install

Hello, I have a celeron 366 with 32 mb of ram and a hard disk of 4 gb with a pcchips motherboard.
The problem is when I boot with the cd or with floppy disk, before install dsl freeze.
Exacltly after this:
" Uncompressing linux...OK, booting the kernel.
Welcome to DSL.
Built using knoppix technology.
DSL comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent permitted by applicable law. "
After that it´s freeze.

What is the solution?

PD: Sorry for may bad english.

which version of dsl did you download? there is one for older computers - syslinux
which is for computers older than about 5 years old. i had to use that one on my old toshiba as the iso linux one wouldnt work.

http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub....nux.iso
(for older pcs)

actually, the above link isnt the latest version, idont think. i cant find the proper link at the moment. maybe someone else could post the proper link.
I downloaded the 2 version, the normal and the syslinux and is the same. What is the problem?
If it attempts to boot the kernel, I don't think its a bootloader issue.

Try booting with "dsl failsafe"
See the wiki page on cheatcodes for more options and info.
