User Feedback :: Security on DSL embedded

Hi guys, I want you to let me know about what security offers DSL embedded within Windows XP when you are using its Firefox surfing the Internet.
Will trojans and other viruses designed for Windows be able to atack you in this case? Remember that the O/S behind all the stuff is W-XP
