Well assuming you did a frugal, yes... but that is what backup/restore, and persistence are for. (See local startup documentation)
Also, /tmp is usually not saved... well because its temporary.
No, I did not do frugal .... I read that if I do a HDD install, I end up w/Debian, which is fine w/me. But do I have to do backup/restore every time I do something?
Also, what is the path for /tmp, I can't find it in /home or /usr! THXFrugals can also be hdd-installed. Backup/restore are only meant to be used with frugals.
/tmp refers to the root dir, but since you are running the debian-style way, I have no idea how it is set up.
