User Feedback :: Poorman Install Problems

I'm trying to install DSL on a 333 MhZ, 92 MB RAM, laptop. I was using the poorman netcard install, (Linksys WPC11 ver. 4 NIC) and I have booted up into BGRescue.

I'm trying to run "ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.14 netmask 255.255.255.0" as stated in the wiki, but everytime I do, i receive:

SIOCSIFADDR: No such device.

Any suggestions?

I did enable PCMCIA support, and the green power light is on for NIC.
