User Feedback :: am i forgetting somthing?

ok, the first time i installed DSL i had this wonderful guide...

i remember it telling me to format the usb stick to FAT32....
i also remember doing something else in windows after the files were on the stick(i think)...

am i making up memory's, or do i have to do something else?
do i just have to extract the files and through them on the stick and im done?.... thats WAY too easy,,, make it harder lol, jk. :D

If you want to natively boot off the key, you'll need to install the bootloader to it (if not already present).

I think syslinux or grub are the usual contenders.

Thanks!

would the "dsl-embedded" have that?

also... what is "natively boot"

nvm about the natively boot... it was what i assumed.

Yes, you can use the data extracted from dsl-embedded.

You'll have to grab the bootloader off somewhere else though.
