User Feedback :: DSL on 10th position.

(This might be old news already. And I haven't followed much the sources... But I think this might be good news?)

Damn Small Linux is on 10th position on Distrowatch.
Right behind DSL is his big brother, Knoppix. ;)

I don't know how much to trust Distrowatch's stats but many seem to know those pages and follow the events there.

Well, Ubuntu is first, and they have a new  Distribution Release: Ubuntu Christian Edition 3.0.  I quote
" The most visible addition is the Daily Bible Verse displayed on the desktop."

Clearly, the development of DSL has been going in the wrong direction. We could have an audio scripture reading on bootup. That should break us at least into second (maybe first) place.

DSL has actually moved down a couple of notches over the last several months, but it doesn't really mean much. It's merely a hit counter.

The distrowatch list is pretty close to pop music charts.  A few good things stay on the chart for several years, but most of it jumps up and then fades into obscurity.

I've seen DSL on rank #6 on distrowatch....
Look where "Edubuntu" is "99th" ,must be a 'buntu for just about everyone!

ps "Ubuntu CE"  is 23rd as I write this.
