User Feedback :: man.uci doesn't work

Sorry I forgot about this thread.
The -i option might be configurable, but I'll have to download the package again to look into it.

I do know that man.uci works in a plain DSL system (at least it did at the time it was built), so I'm guessing that something else you installed is causing troubles.

In any case, the man package needs to be updated anyway, including fixing one or two other issues it has.

The version of gnu-utils I have doesn't include ls, although it's over 2 years old.

coreutils.uci does include GNU ls, though.

Thanks for quick fix.  Am using Damn Small 3.3.
Are we getting   ls  and   less   mixed up here?  Two very different commands.....
Your post is really concerning an extension and not DSL base.
It really belongs in the extension area of the fourm and not here.

However, your issue is related to the  busybox applet version of less as was pointed out in this tread.

This extension requires the full GNU version of less.
Which is available in the  gnu-utils.{dsl,unc} extension.
Once gnu-utiils is loaded it works as expected.
