User Feedback :: DSL board broken? / posting problem
Thanks, John. Hopefully the previous problems are now resolved and won't reoccur -- but just in case (so people won't have to resort to desperate measures again):
In the future, if after becoming a registered member and waiting a while the member should be stuck in unable-to-post limbo, is there
(1) some way the member can unregister in order to try again,
or (2) some standard approved way they can contact you (or someone) about the situation?
Hmmm interesting read...
Wow!?
Today, when I launched the forum website on my computer, I was shocked to see that I was identified by my username without any request to log in. Previously, I was one of those who was supposedly registered but was seen as a guest whenever I attempted to post after logging in.
Now to see if this message is actually posted!
(Parenthetically, my impetus for registering was primarily to post a message about how much I enjoyed the way DSL worked on my old laptop.

I just logged out and logged back in. I was told that I was logged in but when I went to look at a message, my name on the screen became guest.
I was told I could sign in (or register) so I signed in again and the second time, my username came up and I am am writing this as an addendum and second test.

I was wondering why the same people do most of the posting...this explains it.....
