Some topics show in "new posts" reading their last reply is from the same day, but when clicked on, the truth is seen (= the last reply was not from today, but older....)

This seems to happen particularly on polls..

I think that's due to spam that's been deleted... (still marked as unread)

Maybe for polls it gets updated if someone votes? Or could be the above reason as well.

It's happened for normal topics also.. Sometimes even some 2-year old thread bumps up looking like a reply was made the day, but when looked at, nope, last is from 2005 :P
