User Feedback :: Hard drive Viewing

I'm noob and I dont know how to look at my hardrive from DSL! Is that even possible i've tried different things but no luck ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

double emelfm icon on the desktop
in the right panel double click mnt/
click once on hda1
right click, select mount
and you are looking at you c-drive

How would you do this with DSL running on top of M$ XP? I tried the above & it didn't work.
