User Feedback :: better irc client

nirc is all very well, but i think in the next version we need a nice graphical one, i am currently searching for one of a size not much greater than nirc.

maybe lostirc, is only a 500k download (including deps), i have not tried it out yet though#

Good luck finding one.

Graphical apps are easier on the eyes so it would be an improvement to most users.

On the other hand, having a text app is nice if you boot in text-only mode, which a few people do.

One of the cool things about DSL is that there are text/command line applications for a lot of uses like mc (file manager) , links (web browser), nirc/naim (IM client), nano (text editor), etc
