DSL is great !! (faster than SuSE)

But is it possible to install regular software with ./make ect?

Grab the gcc1.dsl and go to town!

Just remember that using apt may work better than compiling it yourself, and some packages can break DSL.

Test with a live-cd before you do anything to an hd install.
