In the news again!

Hehe..they never get away from the "Linux off a 50MB bootable business card CD"...which is waaay cool

Slimmed KNOPPIX will never equal the DSL distro, just cause they dont listen to the requests of the users..they just pump out generic stamped releases because modifying anything would be just too hard!!!!

Debian is not the only Linux distribution that is available as a Live CD....
ummmm no its not, in fact http://www.linux4all.de/ has been hard at work developing a Redhat/Fedora based distro (which could incidentally become the Redhat version of KNOPPIX)

But seriously guys, why do we need knoppix, dsl is better. They don't listen, stuck with Konqueror browser for years, can't even open Yahoo mail the last time I checked, mozilla is slow as snail. they refuse to use firefox.. such arrogance?

Keeping DSL at a hard 50MB limit forces its contributors to weigh the pros/cons of every byte that goes into it.  The result is a leaner, faster, yet still fully functional (and IMHO better) distro.

You can always roll your own remaster.
