User Feedback :: DSL to the rescue!

Im a novice computer tech/semi-guru
I work on computers as a hobby, firewalls, servers, home networks

I have found that using the latest DSL w/ samba.dsl I am able to recover data from all sorts of M$ machines that have locked due to XP SP2, or viruses or whatever...

I just mount one of my network shares and using the emelFM (file manager) I just offload the data the cust wants saved and then wipe the old drive clean and pull the data back..I have successfully restored 5 systems to date and gotten paid hansomly for the data recovery (true computer stores wanted 300+ to do it)

Just goes to show you the versatility and usefullness of the DSL Distro!

Funny thing is, i'm having to do a recovery/reinstall XP on my machine right now.
