User Feedback :: Just installed it

Hi,

Just installed DSL on an old PentiumPro 200MHz 180MB I bought for 10 Euro.

Getting the CD booting was a bit trickey even with a boot floppy (damm machine - it also resists FreeDos as the seem to have a bug in the install scripts).

Beside that - once DSL was up and running - it was on the Harddisc in minutes. And its Lightning fast! Here I working on a simillar computer Pentium 200MMX with 128MB and Red Hat 9. OK, the Gnome Desktop is the best availible I have seen so far  (after the old OS/2 Workplaceshell (RIP)), but the machine is somewhat slow with this heavy configuration.

Seems DSL realy rocks on older machines. I will just need a bit more Software for Working... I will see
