Fluxbox rocks and all the nay-sayers are a bunch of lame-o's who need to stick with the Microsoft moron's. I've added in all the Fluxbox default themes and downloaded all the one's to my liking off the Freshmeat site....makes DSL more appealing from an eye-candy standpoint.

Thou, Gentoo refugee...
I started using Fluxbox on a laptop I rescued from an untimely grave. Its a Toshiba Satellite TC 4700. 850 Meg HD and 24 megs of ram.. I have Debian Woody on it.. and fluxbox for a desktop. I installed Debian on it with about 30 floppies.. since it did not have a CD-ROM.. It was to be sure a labor of love.. In return.. it has served as a travel partner on many trips.. and its been great.. it made a flux box believer out of me..
although it left out some of the larger desktop apps that some might want.. I have found that fluxbox will serve quite well to do any job if you choose your apps carefully. and thoughtfully. I have made converts out of others by letting them see and try that little toshiba.. It also began a love affair I happen to keep with older MAChines that no one seems to want any more.
Peace,
MarkThere are two pretty nice themes over in the 'Release Candidate' forum provided by user 'Kerry' I believe......both work great and are alot easier for me to read, since I like the larger fonts for my 'over 50' eyes
ggordonDidn't expect my original post to 'take off' like it has - interesting to see how others' experiences of Fluxbox via DSL, compare with my own.
