X and Fluxbox :: Noob problem- poor graphics

okay, it works... but when i run xvesa I have max mode 800x600... how can i get 1024x768
just found out a new one problem...
I have this old ISA soundcard.. with opti 16 chip... when I boot dsl it finds me normally the soundcard and the driver (mad16) but I dont have any sound... where should I look at?

mistake: with sndconfig I herat hat sound sample, but when playing music I cant hear nothing.. using xMMS

if you google s3 trio 64 and linux, the card doesn't have a good
reputation with X servers. the max colors looks like 8bit for
1024x768 cos you just have 1M ram.

maybe try the xfbdev frame-buffer mode from xsetup.sh?
