X and Fluxbox :: Please help...

Ok, now i have 20 pcs with DSL ... working very fine ... but, in console, the numlock led work perfectly ... when i start de Xserver (Kdrive Xvesa) the leds go off ... i install numlockx and put it in my start script, and yes ... it works ... (the num pad work on Xserver start) but the led is still off ...

I do everything in the Internet ... and nothing ... with XFree86 Works just fine ...but the configuration for my clients is very dificult ...

Please ... some one know how to do something??? i'm out of options here ... i feel alone in the dark ... anybody listen? hello?

Have you tried pressing the numlock key?
I have a similar problem, i can't seem to compile numlockx with dsl - lots of stuff missing, when i try to compile it on another computer and transfer it, it runs but has no effect, doesn't turn on or off and doesn't give any error message.
pressing the numlock key make the key function as they're supposed to, but the leds don't come on, same goes for scroll lock, the only one that lights a led.

ah.. i figured it out, i put in .xinitrc the following line:

Code Sample
xset led 2

and it made the led turn on, didn't affect the actual num-lock function but i never cared about that anyway.

I have had the same situation.  What happens is if you exit to a console numlock works great.  Whe I go back into X, numlock works but the LED doesn't light.  I tried every crazy thing I could think of and still nothing.  I was using an old compaq Deskpro, Pent II.  I finally tried  a different keyboard(Different Brand), desperate for anything.  And it worked.  I must be a wierd fluke with certian keyboards.  I put the Compaq keyboard on to another machine with DSL and wala it did it there too, so the problem followed the keyboard.  I would be happy to ship this keyboard to someone more knowledgable than I, if they would like to try to troubleshoot the problem further and see what may be causing it.  It seems like a number of people are having this issue.

Also I hooked to a Winbloze XPee Machine and the keyboard worked fine there so I don't think it is just a bad keyboard.
