that's it, in terminal run-> sudo apt-get update then sudo apt-get install language-pack-fi
if it's not in the stock oldstable repo than you can try sarge(change oldstable to sarge in/etc/apt/sources.list) you don't want to go higher than that, you'll get to many problems.

Ok, I'll give it a try lateron and provide the results.. btw.. what is that sudo? sudo is to install as root, it's not needed if you use the root terminal.
