X and Fluxbox :: 7Zip support in emelfm ?
I'm gonna guess that you're either out of memory or out of space of some sort or the download was corrupted (check md5sum)
(I'm assuming you're referring to the extension in mydsl>system here). /usr/bin/7z should use /usr/lib/p7zip/7z. Since /usr/bin/7z is just a wrapper, it won't do anything if you copy it there...
But since you're running a debian-style non-frugal hd install, you should consider using apt-get (or unc's?)
(misc: actually this extension's been updated - just not posted yet, and is now using /opt - but you shouldn't get these results now anyways)
ok, i have downloaded the p7zip.dsl again via Windows2000, checked the md5sum via TotalCommander, the checksum is ok. this afternoon i install the p7zip.dsl on my linux laptop when im back at my hotel...
i can post the result tomorrow...
ahhh the new one works perfectly, when i type on the console only "7z" it displays me all the parameters that i can pass to this little app, many thanks...
i will try to use this in emelfm like the other unpack plugin, so that i can handle 7z archives like normal directorys
original here.
