X and Fluxbox :: Failed to load group file

Hi,
last 2 versions of DSL do not load the enhanced desktop on newer DELL computers. Have tried changing the refresh rates, etc. and almost always get the following console messages:

Failed to load groupfile: BScreen: BScreen
Managing screen 0 using visual 0x21, depth 8
IMLIB Error: cannot find a Palette.
A Palette is need is required for this mode.
