X and Fluxbox :: Save keyboard map on HD Install

using .xserverrc will load the keymap only for an X session though.  If you boot into text mode, or close/crash the X session, you may be back to using the default keymap.  It's better to have it set from bootlocal so you'll aways have it available.

I'm not certain if it reverts after it's been set in X, but it will at least not work if you happen to boot into text mode.

I still not solved the topic.

It seems that /opt/bootlocal.sh (hence /opt) is not available.
Is there a way to "update" without reinstalling whole DSL (from 0.49 version to current version)?

Thanks again for help.

Haha, god loves me though.

After typing 'loadkeys de-latin1' i typed 'startx' and volia, here we are now. (See here. )

Ok, being serious again... now i have to type this command everytime i boot up. Okay i can live with it, but does someone know a solution how to do this automatically, without using "opt/bootlocal.sh"?

Have a nice day, tscha :)

I have a DSL (09) distro running and the English keymap works EXCEPT the 10 key pad doesn't.  I kave a Knoppix 3.7 distro on the same machine and the 10 key pad works. Can I swap the keymap from Knoppix to DSL ? How do I do this...
