X and Fluxbox :: Xvesa does only 640x480



Hello all,

I've struggled to boot DSL from my usb key and finally got it to work.

But my X server is damn ugly.
If I try System->X setup it opens a window but I can't see a thing inside
So I tried System->XVesa. Here I can only choose 640x480x16. This settings work fine but it's not very confortable...
When getting back to System->X setup in 640x480 I can see what's inside the window but any combination of parameters gives me the same ugly results...

Can somebody help me out?
Try framebuffer mode

fb800x600 or fb1024x768 or fb1280x1024 if you have a huge screen ^_^
Well I do have a huge screen  :p  but when I try the framebuffer option I receive this:
modprobe can't locate module fb0
(I'm using dsl-1.0rc2)
Sounds like you're trying to boot from USB using grub, I've tried and got the same error.  Try using the boot floppy.
