X and Fluxbox :: X set-up on old laptop

Hi,

I just installed extended HDD DSL on an old laptop. At some point, I got a message saying that fbdev (or something similar) was better for older laptops. I selected the other option by mistake!!!! I now wan't to set-up my X properly. Can anybody help?

BTW, I did a dmesg | more, and can't see any reference to my video hardware.

shutdown your xserver:
rightclick-->windowmanager-->exit

at the prompt type xsetup.sh
