X and Fluxbox :: changing mouse cursor

can i change my mouse cursor,

or is it possible to use animated cursors?

Yes, but i couldn't say how. In one of my DSL setups I have a different cursor accidentally =o) ...it was the result of using the xset command, but is not directly related to cursors, so i dunno why it happened.

My mouse cursor changed when I downloaded the dsl-artwiz extension.

That's because that extension suggests using xset to add the fonts =o)

I hear you can change the cursor with the xsetroot command as well, but i also don't know how to do that. You might be able to set up a set of cursors in ~/.icons to use with Xfree86, but haven't tested that yet.

One more question about mouse. How do I reverse the buttons? I'm lefthanded and in other window managers there is a simple one-kick way to do it. How do you do this in fluxbox?
